Dear Parents and Students. Welcome to the 2023-23 school year. Hello, my name is Mrs. Thomas. I am honored to be teaching at University Charter High School as the SPED ELA teacher. I am originally from Brooklyn, NY and later moved to Jersey City as a youth. In the past I worked within the mental health field, to later taking interest in special education. I can proudly say that within my years of teaching, I have taught ELA to nearly all grade levels, which has truly been rewarding and beneficial as an educator. It is my desire to ensure that your child has a positive and engaging learning experience within the classroom.
