Updated: Resources for Families Affected by SNAP Cuts

The UACHS administration is aware of the difficulties that the SNAP cuts are causing our school community. Rest assured, any SNAP cuts or delays do not affect our school breakfast and lunch program. Students will continue to receive breakfast and lunch every school day.

Please note: UACHS is in session on Tuesday, 11/4, and Monday, 11/10; however, we will be closed  Thursday 11/6, Friday, 11/7, and Tuesday, 11/11.

SNAP info update flyerA limited supply of food items will be available for pick-up at UACHS on Wednesday, 11/5, by appointment only. Families who wish to request a food distribution, must fill out this form by 5pm, Tuesday, 11/4. Requests will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis, and priority will be given to students' families who qualify for free or reduced lunch.

Anyone who is able to donate non-perishable, non-expired good items are invited to bring them to the school via the visitor entrance (285 West Side Avenue) during school hours. Anyone who would like to donate money toward this effort should contact Dr. Chenelle ([email protected]; 201-200-2515) or donate directly to one of the local food pantries listed below.

We encourage families in need to seek out the following resources:
