School Uniforms Available for Purchase at UACHS 8/14 10am-12pm

As you purchase uniform items, please be aware of the school's uniform policy, as stated in the student handbook:

  1. The following are the only items that can be worn while in the school building (any changes will be communicated by administration):
    1. Green polo with school logo; Green non-hooded, school-issued, long-sleeve sweater/polar fleece; Green non-hooded, school-issued, long-sleeve shirt. No T-shirts or Hoodies. CARDIGANS MUST be worn WITH a uniform shirt. 
    2. Pants or knee-length skirt in black or khaki (color as shown on uachsuniform.ynkstore.us). NO rips, holes, designs, or alterations; NO TIGHTS/LEGGINGS or SWEATPANTS. 
    3. Practical shoes/sneakers ONLY. NO open-toed/ open-heeled shoes; NO flip-flops, slides, OR CROCS, etc. 
    4. ONLY in September and June: mid-thigh khaki shorts. 
  1. For physical education classes, students are required to wear sneakers. Students may wear sweatpants, shorts, or t-shirt DURING GYM ONLY; school apparel is not mandatory. Students may wear regular school uniform to gym class. 
  2. The following items may NOT be worn in school at any time:
    1. Any non-uniform shirt over a uniform shirt; 
    2. Sweatpants; 
    3. Colored and/or ripped pants/tights/leggings; 
    4. Hats, hairnets, sweatbands, bandanas, doo-rags, headdresses, scarves. Non-religious scarves are not allowed; we respect and accommodate religious headwear such as a hijab. Hairbands are only to be used for practical use. Students must look PROFESSIONAL. 
    5. Vests, jackets, coats, hoodies, or hooded sweatshirts, etc. (All items worn as an outer layer must be UACHS apparel. See uachsuniform.ynkstore.us) 
    6. “COLORS” representing an affiliation with any outside organization may NEVER be worn in school. 
  1. The school uniform must be worn with the following in mind: 
    1. Shirts are tucked in at all times. 
    2. Pants are held up with a belt. Baggy or sagging pants are never permitted. 
    3. Other than the printed UACHS name/logo, no writing of any kind should be visible on a uniform shirt, pants, or shoes. 
    4. No uniform article may be altered, including cutting, painting, etc. 

UACHS Staff will conduct daily uniform checks. Students out of uniform will have their Parent/Guardian contacted so that a proper uniform can be provided. If a Parent/Guardian cannot bring a uniform to school, the student may be placed in in-school suspension for the day. A student may be able to borrow uniform from the school.

NO T-SHIRTS, NO HOODIES, NO CROCS, NO HEADDRESS may be worn in school. If a student is not in compliance with the uniform policy, they may be placed in in-school suspension. To avoid this, a parent or adult may bring a uniform to school. A student may be able to borrow a uniform from the school, but it is not guaranteed that one will be available. A washer/dryer is available in the school for laundering uniforms.
