This video you'll watch will instruct you as to how to register for and receive access to your Pearson Physics textbook for our class. In the video ignore that it says for AP & elective science classes. Just follow the steps/instructions & you'll be fine. You will need 3 things: Your school email address. The course I.D. - you get from me (will post I.D. in Google Classroom for your period). An access code - you get from me (not paypal or credit card) (will post code in Google Classroom for your period). When creating your Pearson account, the username you create needs to be your first name and last initial (ex. JohnS.). If it says that is taken add a number sequentially from 1 until it is accepted (ex. JohnS.123...).

hi and welcome to this video for student registration for AP honors and elective science titles to start with student registration you want to get to the correct registration website ww.w Pearson mylab and mastering. Cop car now when I hit return it's going to add a forward slash North American a forward you always register at pearsonmylabandmastering.com and that's the website that you are always going to sign into after you complete your registration so it's a good idea how to start your student registration you were going to need three things you were going to need your e-mail address and please talk with your teacher to make sure what email address they want you to register with you're going to need your access code and the course ID you'll get the course ID from your teacher as well and that's what's going to put you into the horse that your teacher wants you in if you have those three things you are all set and ready to start registration so you're going to come down here where it says register and you're going to register as a student there's that three what's that we talked about your email address your instructors course ID and since you're a K-12 student you will use in access code you will not be using a credit card or PayPal you have those three things let's go ahead and register now start out this is where you can enter in your teachers course ID I'm going to go ahead and enter in mine double check to make sure it's correct and once you're all set click continue if you got to the next screen that means it is a valid course ID and you can verify over here that the information is correct so yes I am in my teachers AP biology first. That's what the teacher called it the next thing is you're going to sign in with your account if you don't already have most people are going to create a new PSN account the only way you would sign in with your Pearson account is if you used a Pearson AP such as mastering MyMathLab might become left something of that nature if you've never used one of those platform you don't have a Pearson account and you are going to create one we're going to create one put in your email address and you're going to create a username member always double check with your teacher to see if there is a common username theater with your school that they would like you to put in if you get the green check that means that that username is not already taken and you're all ready to go to the next field password make sure you read the password specifications that popped up what time was it born in is going to be my security question go ahead and read the terms of use you can click I agree and check the boxes of what applies to you once you have all green check marks you are all set and we're going to go ahead and create the account username and password right now as well to is a good best practice all right so my account was created and then I'm going to go head access code and this is where I'm going to enter in my student access code you can enter it into the proper boxes or a shortcut if you copied and pasted it from an email that your teacher sent to you you can actually click on the first box and paste it and it will apply it to the correct number if you can't, you'll just have to type it into the rectangle double check to make sure your access code is all set you can also make sure double check again this is your correct course going to finish process my access code and if you're getting this bar that means it was a good access code and everything is working properly all right and it says you're done check your email registration confirmation so good best practice is to print this page and save it in your school folder or binder because it does have your username and the access you probably want to write your password down and then when you're all set I'm going to click go to my courses and here is my course and when I'm all set I can click into the square right here next time that you login just cuz we just completed registration I'm going to go ahead and sign out of this website that we registered at pearsonmylabandmastering.com number of changes to that adds that forward slash North America this is not only Grecian website but this is where your login every day for your class so if you didn't and from now on you'll just click sign in use those credentials that you made sign in the first time that you go through this sign in you might have to select your country and agree to the terms of use and privacy and there you are and they're of course you can click on your course and you can enter it thanks for watching this video on student registration for AP honors and elective science titles
