Hello! Welcome to my website! Intro to Micro-Computing is the foundation for high school students to get introduced to technology.
In Micro-Computing, we cover word processing skills that are essential to communicating in a workplace. In this course the students will develop computer skills while creating documents that can be used to communicate a message in a workplace.
In Web Design and Principles of Computer Science, we create web pages where the students build a foundation for effective web design by understanding the evolution of the computer and the internet.  This will help them make connections between Web Development and  Computer Science in the future.
Ms. Summers's Schedule
Periods 1, 2, 3, and 8: Intro to Micro-Computing
Period 4: Principles of Computer Science

Please log into your child's PowerSchool account to keep up to date with grades.

Here are some helpful resources for you!

I was born in Brooklyn, New York and lived in New Jersey since 1991. I worked in corporate America for a number of years before deciding to transition into education. I have worked in several school districts as a substitute teacher for six years. Having worked as a substitute teacher has open my eyes to my true calling of becoming a teacher.
